Because personas can be used across multiple journeys and workspaces, archiving or deleting one has consequences beyond the current workspace. JourneyTrack will show you exactly which journeys and workshops will be affected before you proceed.

How to archive or delete a persona

Navigate to the persona you want to archive or delete.
Click the ... menu in the top corner of the persona card.
Select Archive or Delete.
A Heads up! dialog will appear. Read it carefully — it lists every journey, workshop (and more) the persona is currently used in, and explains what will happen to the data in each location.
If you want to preserve the persona's data, use the Select persona dropdown to reassign it to another persona before proceeding. If you don't need to reassign, leave Do not reassign this persona checked.
Type the confirmation text in the field at the bottom — I UNDERSTAND to archive, or DELETE to delete. The button will remain grayed out until the correct text is entered.
Click Archive or Delete to confirm.

Archiving removes the persona from other workspaces and archives its Thinking & feeling lane data in those locations. It's the safer option when you think you might need the persona again later.

Deleting permanently removes the persona from other workspaces and deletes its Thinking & feeling lane data in those locations. This cannot be undone.
